This film not only covers the unsightly view from my patio door, it also adds appeal to my living room. It's relatively easy to install; I installed mine w/o any help. I mostly used a large & better quality squeegee and only used the plastic card squeegee w/c came free w/ the film order, for corners & edges. The liner may be difficult to separate from the film but just be patient. You can tear a pin hole in one corner if the suggested scotch tape method will not work. Because this was my 1st time to install a window film, I chose the clear rippled waves believing it would not require as much precision as those with larger patterns. I am pretty confident now so next time, I'll choose a more challenging pattern.
